Recipe for perfect Chocolate Seal Stamps

Here’s how to make perfect chocolate seals for all your baked goodies

There’s no better way to add a personalized touch to your desserts & baked goodies than a custom chocolate seal stamp. Customize each of your desserts to you & your brand name -

From muffins, to cupcakes, to tarts to wedding cakes. Making sure each goodie spreads the name around for you!

Here’s how you can make chocolate seals in a few easy steps;

How to Make the Perfect Chocolate seals

Pro Tip: Place your seal in a bowl filled with ice and water. Place the stamp face down onto the ice so that the metal is able to cool.

This is integral to getting a crisp seal. A cold wax seal stamp works faster & better on chocolate and gives a better impression than a room temperature or hot seal will.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • Gold Luster Dust

  • Parchment paper

  • Cup filled with crushed ice

  • Metal seal stamp

Instructions

Step 1. Melt the chocolate chips

Using a double boiler, place water in the bottom pot below the top pan. Place chocolate chips in the top pan and place over low-medium heat. Stir constantly until chocolate chips melt. Water should not come to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool for about 3 minutes.

Step 2. Chill your stamp

Place wax stamper on ice in a bowl to allow it to get cold. This is the integral step to get clean & crisp seals.

Step 3. Pour the chocolate

Use a small spoon to place a dime size dollop of melted chocolate onto a sheet of parchment paper.

Pro Tip: If you’re looking for perfectly round seals, make sure that you’re pouring the chocolate right into the middle of your seal—not moving it around

Step 4. Blot & press

Remove the cold wax stamper from the ice, wipe dry and stamp down onto the chocolate, press down so the chocolate oozes around the side. Leave the stamper in place for 3-5 seconds to allow chocolate to cool.

Step 5. Brush with Gold dust

Paint the seals with the gold luster dust to amplify the logo.

Step 6. Refrigerate

Once the seals are ready with your custom name, make sure you put them to refrigerate for a bit & don't use them directly.

Step 7. Place it

Once refrigerated, you can start using them on the go. To adhere to baked goodies simply use a small dollop of melted chocolate or honey.

So have fun stamping, and spread the sweet word around!
